Benechrist

Terms of Service

Last updated 19 August 2026

What this covers

BeneOS Socials is private, self-hosted software operated by Benechrist to publish to Benechrist's own social media accounts. It is not a service offered to the public, there is no sign-up, and no third party is invited to use it. These terms describe how it is operated.

Use of platform APIs

The tool connects to social platforms through their official APIs under the developer terms of each platform, including the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and the equivalent terms for TikTok, X, Twitch, Kick and Discord. Where a platform's terms conflict with anything here, that platform's terms take precedence for that platform.

By using the YouTube integration the operator is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to data Google receives.

Account access

Accounts are connected by their owner or administrator through the platform's own OAuth flow. Connecting an account grants only the permissions shown on that platform's consent screen. Access can be revoked at any time from the platform's settings, and revocation takes effect immediately.

Acceptable use

The tool is used to publish the operator's own content. It is not used to send unsolicited messages, to post on accounts the operator does not control, to impersonate anyone, to inflate engagement artificially, or to circumvent any platform's rate limits or policies.

No warranty

The software is operated on an as-is basis for the operator's own purposes. No warranty is offered to any third party, and no service level is promised, because no third party is a user of it.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date at the top of the page reflects the current version.
